🚨🔴 Yesterday, the agency that had most recently been negotiating on behalf of Leroy #Sané was close to reaching a full agreement with Max Eberl on a new contract until 2028. Eberl also confirmed this. This included a salary reduction and no signing fee. The total package was set to drop from €20m to around €14–16m per year.
⚠️ Last night, however, Sané informed Eberl that he is now represented by Pini #Zahavi, as also reported by BILD.
The contract extension is now open again - but not ruled out. But it remains questionable whether FC Bayern would even agree to new terms. Arsenal were and still are interested. Eberl wants him to extend.
