Arrived 1 minute earlier than scheduled in #Lausanne, et finalement la dernière étape avec #R3

Managed to go from Paris du Nord to Gare de Lyon. First RER had the first coaches closed, I did not get in, the second worked. I went straight to the TGV, entered, and it departed five minutes later. So, no images

And here we go, leaving London on time with the #Eurostar to Paris. Departure hall was huge, security check way better organized and laid out than Paris du Nord
As I'm on my way back, I travel backwards, with partial window access

Arrived in London St. Pancras on time. The station is huge, and still very large after the security check to the #Eurostar

And here we are: on time in #Nottingham
#DocEng25 starts tomorrow with tutorials, followed by three day of presentations, keynotes, and demos

Arrived at London St. Pancras, it looks a bit like Prilly-Malley or Europaallee or any other standard construction side, doesn't it? 7 minutes late bc additional stop in Lille, then finding the way to leg 4 of my journey to #DocEng25: With #EMR to #Nottingham

We were traveling fast, but then stopped inthe middle of nowhere to un-board a sick passenger. Good I had to take the later EuroStar anyway, with a 20 minutes delay it would’ve been impossible to buy a #Navigo, take Metro D to Paris Nord and find the way to security for EuroStar

And here we go:
Boarded the #TGVLyria to #Paris for Leg 1 on my journey to #DocEng25. Leaving #Lausanne on time, only a few passengers
For whatever reason, I have a seat in the lower part and I travel backwards 🙄
#TrainTravel from Lausanne to Nottingham takes longer and is more expensive then by plane. #ZHAW has a program to foster ecological travels by funding additional costs. Thanks a lot!
