Wenn man mit #homeassistant anfängt, hat man die Wahl bei Zigbee zwischen #zha (einfache Installation) oder #mqtt (nicht ganz so Einfach als Anfänger). Was man aber vorher Wissen sollte, dass man #zigbee2mqtt nehmen sollte, wenn man schon #huelampen besitzt. Denn bei #mqtt erhalten die Lampen auch ein Update. Habe ich in keinem Video gehört, zumindest bei denen die Ich mir angeschaut habe.

A lesson in #HomeAssistant I’ve learned the hard way… When your #Zigbee device has been causing you long term issues with #ZHA, do not reconfigure or repair it.

Delete it from your instance, restart Home Assistant and only then pair it again.

It is possible someone has fixed the cause you’ve been suffering. But… Apparently, once paired, it works according to the same quirk it was paired/configured with and even if you update your #HA, it will not update it’s configuration.

107 müssen noch.

Ich nehme mir immer mal wieder ein Gerät mit besonders schlechter Verbindungsqualität (LQI) oder wenn es gerade ohnehin Verbindungsprobleme gibt und ziehe das dann um.

Nachdem der Support mit der speziellen Firmware das SLZB MR4U nun für Thread stabil zum laufen gebracht hat, werde ich damit beginnen, das Zigbee-Radio via ZHA in Betrieb zu nehmen.

Das mache ich langsam und pragmatisch.
Dazu suche ich mir die Devices, die auf dem Sonoff Dongle in zigebee2mqtt besonders niedrige LQI habe und ziehe die als erstes um.

My dear Brother has been caught on a false advertising case… What has been sold as a “presence” sensor came out to be a simple motion sensor.

Managed to set it up as such, but it doesn’t do what I was hoping for that well…

No harm done, though, as it’s been dirt cheap.

Hello,

i’ve bought two Aqara Smoke Detectors Type SD-S01E. The connection with my Conbee III / ZHA and the device runs pretty smoth so far.

The only Problem is, that both devices didn´t show some Information about the Firmware and the Battery-Level.

Is anyone familiar with this problem and has it been solved yet?

All Components are up to date (incl. Firmware of the ConbeeIII-Stick).

Ich bestellte bei Alza (eine leiwande Alternative zu Amazon) einen Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2, um das vorhandene Zigbee-Netzwerk (ZHA) vom ConBee Gateway auf den ZBT-2 zu migrieren. Das klappte erfreulicherweise automatisch ruckzuck und völlig problemlos - so mag ich das.

Warum ich das tat: Die Verwaltung (z.B. Updates) des ZBT-2 erfolgt direkt in HA, er wurde speziell für HA entwickelt und durch den Kauf wird auch die Entwicklung von HA / ZHA / ESPHome unterstützt. Und wenn künftig auch Thread in unserem automatisierten Zuhause ein Thema wird, dann hole ich mir einen zweiten ZBT-2 für dieses Netzwerk-Protokoll.
