The Yuri Jam game will be a couple of days late. Shipping it without the ending when pretty much everything else is already there would be just plain silly, so let me actually finish cooking this chicken.
Mwahahaha, this cutscene is so peak cinema, but I can't showcase any of it because it would spoil the whole game. 😗
Miss smart woman designs a cutscene that requires matching music to character movement. Regrets when composing music.
The manager me has caught the sound engineer me watching Pure Data tutorials instead of mass producing sound effects the old way. The sound engineer me has been reprimanded and told to learn it once the Yuri Jam game is finished.
I'll be doing a gamedev stream in a bit. Working on art and content of my Yuri Jam game. Chill music, unplanned casual chat, tinkering with Godot and such.

Test map for my current game. Everything is subject to change still, especially palette, but I'm happy with how it's shaping up!
And that's another area done. I'm actually a bit worried that the tileset I allocated for the level graphics might be too small. Slopes eat up so much of the tile budget and the new area was like all slopes.
Well, I could just resize the tileset if I run out of space. The luxuries of making a retro style game on modern hardware. It's more that this game inching towards 1024 tiles is kind of wild. It was supposed to be small!
