So. Made some wooden growboxes to grow veggies this year. Last year we did a lot of growing in portable containers but the yield wasn’t that great. Up for some lettuce, green beans, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, string beans, bush beans, leek, garlic and various garden herbs.

Our self made #spaghetti sauce.

The real deal here are the freshly added tomatoes 🍅 and courgette (from my aunt's garden), carrots (makes the sauce a bit sweeter), and celery (yes! it goes so well here).

It has been awhile we made something like this and I enjoyed it a lot.
Fortunately we have some leftovers, so we can continue to enjoy the meal 😀😋

What was supposed to be a simple sauce became a pretty elaborate, rich and delicious #spaghetti sauce.

The real deal here are the freshly added tomatoes 🍅 received from my aunt from their garden, and it makes a huge difference in the taste than if buying from a supermarket. We had also received a courgette from her, so we added it here as well ☺️ Furthermore carrots are part of the sauce, they make the sauce a bit sweeter, and cellery (yes! I didn’t know cellery would go so well here).

Maybe because it has been awhile we cooked something like that, but the result was fantastic. Fortunately we have some leftovers, so we can continue to enjoy the meal 😀😋
