played through most[*] of Love Eternal the other night and it was great; I'd describe it as a short ~4h precision platformer + horror + creepy humor + narrative; highly recommend
Mechanically it feels like a riff on VVVVVV's gravity flip, except you can jump and do one (1) flip in the air and most critically you have momentum after you do that flip in the air. I wouldn't say it feels floaty but it's more that you don't have the turn on a dime control that you would in other platformers. It's a different skill, and doing different things, and I quite enjoyed it.
There's some elements to it too that I really wish I could talk about but don't want to spoil. If this isn't your cuppa to play it might be worth watching a playthrough of it.
[*] I got to the final challenge and decided I should probably go to bed, so will finish tonight
