At High Wood, Liskeard, the local Scout group helped build leaky dams during monthly work parties to mimic how fallen trees reduce flood risk. The experience was a great learning opportunity for the Scouts, who learned skills like using an axe and saw while aiding environmental conservation. Their efforts had a significant impact, showcasing the results firsthand!
