I just had to nip out to buy tins of steamed tuna with Mediterranean sauce and whatnot. I'd served the cat a bowl of chicken and she threatened to report me to the War Crimes Commission.

Then I went to the shop.

I ran out the door to go pick up my kid at school but I was starving so I grabbed some snacks on the way out.

I had a crap day but even at 53 years old nothing beats a package of graham crackers and a Capri Sun to make things a little better. (Dammit. Should have grabbed some string cheese too. 😁)

Benson liked being at daycare so much he was an asshole when I picked him up.

Literally refusing to leave the property!

I had to walk him around the block, cross the street, and cross back to try and mix him up and he wasn't having it. He refused to walk through the park. GAH.

So we caught some buses, he got really excited sniffing downtown Oakland. He calmed down when we got to Rockridge and was a chunky softie most of the way home.

He's been such a lovely schmoopie for the past week or so; these random moments of stubbornness throw me off -- and make me grrrrr.

When pitties dig in, they really dig IN.
