I'd been looking for a drop-leaf table for a while, to save space in our galley kitchen/diner.
Two days ago, a neighbour advertised one on a local socmed page. It was a bit pre-loved, but fitted the bill; and the price was fair*.
I got it home, then carefully sanded the top to remove the old varnish.
I didn't want to revarnish the table, so mixed up some beeswax & coconut oil as a simple polish.
I think I won...

(it is impressive the lad was able to catch an owl and even had all the kit ready to look after her!)
A #Yorkshireman got #drunk a few years back and ordered a >10m tall inflatable #Santa by accident - this has become so popular in the village he lives in (just outside #York) that he has raised a lot of money for #charity by exhibiting it π (equally impressive that its stayed put with all the weather and not fouled the Openreach cables)

8 days in Wales visiting my folks while we collect wifey's UK Visa to allow us to permanently move back. 20 years in the USA coming to an end. π». Once trip is over the house in NC goes on the sale π₯³
Should I bring an HT - not sure about repeaters near Garnant. I could bring the Open spot and 878 I suppose. I'll check repeater lists and program them in if there are any local.
