Pup helped with camera checks for the vinyasa class I recorded yesterday! That's if you call licking my ankle in one-leg tadasana helping! Mostly she just asked for scritches and love! This little velcro puppy is almost two! So much cuteness and love!

Yoga practice 1094 today. Enjoyed the last practice of the Yoga with Adriene Flow series. My favourite of the ten 30-day yoga series she's done is probably Breath, but they are all good. (and free to do on YT). Got to do a little bit of my practicum during the mic-off session . A little half-circle and gate pose flow. Almost done putting it together. Slowly but surely.

I have passed my advanced yoga teacher training written exam and I am putting together my practicum. I am going to do a heart opening hatha practice geared towards runners. Slowly coming together. A lovely coincidence that my practice today had some of the asana I will do in my practice- gate pose felt especially delicious!

"Arooooo" Hello, September! Hello meteorological autumn (in the Northern Hemisphere, welcome to spring my Southern Hemisphere friends!) Yoga practice 942/1000 today after my short #LongRun I still haven't decided what to do when I hit 1000 practices, maybe I'll just keep going! We'll see! Pup says she's happy to continue! I'm feeling good as I taper. Last long run is tomorrow and only a couple of hours. I'm going to start tapering my yoga over the next week too, more restorative and yin. My study buddy is keeping my page open for me! Slowly making my way through Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, 80% of the way through! I'm designing a class on the second chakra, svashisthana, and I am being kept cosy by the pup. I'm enjoying the class designing process and slowly building a library of classes. I'm also finding Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith really fascinating and a great resource for translating between different understandings.

Look who's just turned 11 months! Pup is 27lbs of cuteness! (12.3kg) Perhaps my initial guess of 29lbs full grown might be pretty close (she's a Jack Russell - Boston Terrier - Husky - Lab - Hound mix!)
Smart and a divining rod for moods (she starts barking when politics gets discussed!) She has taken over my chair. She is fascinated with slippers. She is a snuggle bug and lives for scritches and cuddles. She will sit in front of you and tap you with her paw when she wants scritches. She hangs out while I do yoga. Sometimes I need to share my mat. Such a joy!
