I’m doubting the #TS80P will be useful for thicker gauge automotive wiring, but with its higher wattage, maybe it’ll surprise me (especially if I pick up an different tip.) Certainly will be useful for thinner gauge automotive wiring and the portability is insane.

I’ve used my old 110V AC soldering iron off-grid using my #GoalZero #Yeti400’s 300W pure-sine AC inverter in the past (though, recently, not effectively), so will probably pick up a butane soldering iron for larger off-grid tasks.
