10. What are your thoughts on em dashes?

I think they are very effective as a stronger separator than commas or parentheses. Also great for indicating an abrupt change of subject in dialogue — or internal monologue.

Played Betrayal with the kids.

Ended up turning traitor, and had to sacrifice one of the characters to open a gate to Hell.

Got to the last turn, checked the rolls, then queued up The Only Thing They Fear is You from the DOOM Eternal soundtrack.

Cue kid's embarrassment as I read the winning statement over thematically appropriate meme music.
