Watching #PredatorBadlands, and you know what the #Yautja don't need? Pathos.

They are hunters with an incomprehensible (to humans) honor code. That's all the characterization they need in the movies. Anything else should just be alien weirdness.

But setting aside personal preference, what they DEFINITELY don't need is one banging on a door screaming "NOOOO!" when his big brother gets killed. Fuck's sake.

All of this is actually beside the point though, because the only TRUE expansion of Yautja lore the world ever needed came to us from the AvP comics (Dark Horse; the original series is the best, but everything from 1989-2020 is readable.)

Sympa, #Predator Badlands. Tout aussi foire au numérique qu'un Avatar de Cameron mais bien plus authentique et beaucoup moins long. Et bien meilleur sur les histoires de famille de sang et famille trouvée. Et merci d'avoir fait parler #yautja au perso principal pendant tout le film, c'était cool.
Le film est plein de défauts, hein, je dis pas. Mais j'ai passé un bien meilleur moment que devant le dernier Avatar ou même le premier.
J'ai envie de voir Prey et Killer of Killers maintenant.
