I probably should have taken more time to formulate a better question than “what should I keep in mind this week” before drawing my cards but here they are. There is some tension to be resolved. And I am finding a little need in the cards to balance logic with emotion. Use logic but also follow your heart and gut? Hmmmm. #WeeklyTarot #Tarot #YarnTarot
This reading really resonates, especially if taking in account the reversals. There’s a lot going on here to pick through but no new insights about what should be done, more confirmation that what I see in front of me is there. I prefer to ignore the reversals ;) but I am working on keeping in mind both meanings because right now the reversals seem so accurate. #WeeklyTarot #tarot #YarnTarot
Interesting combination of cards in #WeeklyTarot: King of Swords (logic, diligence), Ace of Wands (beginnings, inspiration, creativity), Page of Wands (inspiration, ideas, passion). Big couple of weeks coming up at work, including my “review” supposedly Wednesday. So many things happening and potential projects in personal life and hobbies. Inspiration is great but so is focus and hard work to make things happen. #Tarot #YarnTarot
My weekly #tarot drawing from #YarnTarot seems fitting since our 26th wedding anniversary is a week from today. And it's relevant for other reasons, too.
#DailyTarot from #YarnTarot is Judgement. Does it mean anything that no matter how much shuffling I do I frequently draw the same cards I have already had? Trying to intuit where this might be relevant right now… or maybe just that it’s always relevant. Being aware of virtuous and vicious cycles is important and how to get into a positive one and out of a negative one. #tarot
Today’s #YarnTarot card is The Fool… again! Embarking on a great adventure! Which is… another day of conferencing! OR (more likely to happen) me finding a quiet space near by the conference area and sitting down with my knitting. This has a 99% probability of occurring. And starting to work on my “try new things” knitting project. #DailyTarot #tarot
I got the Five of Pentacles card once before, when my partner and I found out we had COVID. I’m using #TheStitchersTarot this time and like the #YarnTarot this really says nothing about the symbolism from RWS. I’m feeling one of the interpretations of this card that I read around moving through worries of instability and reaching resolution one way or the other. I have a few different kinds of fears I’m struggling with. #DailyTarot #tarot
I have been using the #YarnTarot deck but a few weeks back I also picked up a copy #TheStitchersTarot. My first card from that deck is the Eight of Swords. I can really see the feeling of being trapped or restricted but also the possibilities posed by being free. I am reminded that I accept certain things as given that I do not need to. Even if my intuition tells me something else. Especially if I don’t want to change. And is something a trap or an opportunity for growth? #DailyTarot #Tarot
#DailyTarot card is Two of Swords which implies a decision to be made. It is very correct. I have a decision in front of me. The card says nothing about what direction to choose. Only the heart and the mind together can make that decision happen. This is a reminder to trust myself as I think through which way to go. #tarot (1/?) #YarnTarot
Oops I forgot to take a pic of today’s #tarot card but maybe that’s because it was boring visually. So here is a pic of the #YarnTarot interpretation page. Three of Pentacles for #DailyTarot seems very aligned with today’s activity, which is an all-day (virtual via Teams) offsite with my boss’s team. I’m reminding myself to be engaged, participate, be open to new work/new opportunities to come out of this. Exciting! And hopefully next week I’ll have energy to follow up.
