Yaesu did a bad job while announcing the release of the #ftx1f. There is so much confusion around the difference between the #YaesuFTX1Field and #YaesuFTX1Optima.

Just name it as what it is. The actual devices are FTX-1 (the radio( and the SPA-1 (the base station extension) where the Optima is just the bundle of the two sold at a discount compared to the individual parts.
