Shame to see the #YaST go because focusing to the cloud control and #dev not interested of rewriting the thing.
always pain in the #arse to use #three different tools for a thing that was done by one #wholesome #sweet before in #SuSE .
I strongly believe that more distros should adopt MX Linux's set of GUI-based configuration tools, instead of assuming that every window manager ships with a decent effigy of the #Windows Control Panel or expecting every user to get cozy with the terminal.
Scripts and invocations are cool, but they shouldn't be the only way to interact with the computer).

Who knows, maybe OpenSUSE's #YAST is better.

Myrlyn 1.0 Released For Package Manager GUI Spawned By SUSE's Hack Week

Myrlyn 1.0 was released today as the package manager GUI developed by SUSE engineers and started out just over one year ago during a SUSE Hack Week event as a SUSE/Qt package manager program not dependent upon YaST or Ruby.

"Bridge YaST & Cockpit Gaps”… oh really?

Link: https://tinyurl.com/bdfnskfh

So let me get this straight,
We move away from YaST,
and now we’re trying to bring YaST back inside Cockpit?

Amazing plot twist. Didn’t see that one coming. It’s like throwing something out the window and then climbing outside to pick it up again because "actually I still need it." 🤦‍♂️

openSUSE devs never fail to entertain.😅

Beste Entscheidung ever!
