I'll get some better pictures of it when I move him upstairs and secure some of the pieces a little more.
The torso connects to the lower body through a cross shaped rod, which i may have pushed too far into the upper body, leaving very little to go into the legs.
It is a surprisingly dense construction and feels way better than the Chocobo I have.
I did spend 75% of my construction time being like, "What am I even making at this moment in time?!"
Not going to lie, really happy with this, despite swearing up a storm as I fiddled around with some of the instructions and trying to find some of the pieces.

So, last night, I started working on another one of my Christmas presents.
A generic construction block toy Xenomorph from the Alien franchise. My little brother has a habit of finding me weird and cool things like this.
Though. Almost immediately into the build process I came to a realisation.
This process was going to suck.
The Xenomorph came in, about, 7 plastic bags. The pieces seemed to be randomly spread between the bags. This isn't like a branded construction block toy, or one of their contemporaries, which will have the bags numbered and organised.
I had no choice but to open all the bags and cover my dining table in bricks that were so black that I felt I was staring into the void of space.
I almost gave up within a few minutes as I couldn't, for the life of me, find certain pieces. But I persevered, messaging my brother on Discord just to tell him how much I currently hated him.
Even trying to build the mini-fig Xenomorph proved too taxing to start with.
After their 9 to 5 shifts are done, best buddies, recap the day ❤️
