I just thought about how the end of Mira would've been much more impactful if chapter 13 had been a later story DLC for the original Wii U version like it was for 2 and 3.

The reason being that there would've been a forced pause between chapter 12 and 13 and the player was more likely to do more side content that are about making Mira one's home before going through chapter 13.

Another brief theory I had about the elves is that they could be belonging to Elma's race.

However, from what we saw, all of them have human skin colors and not that greenish tone Elma's true body has.
