Mark Smith#SwiftUI knowers: can anyone tell me why an existing Thing instance isn't deinitialzed when thing is set to nil? It's only deinitialized when a new Thing is assigned to thing.
This makes no sense to me. And it's bad if Thing is managing a resource.

with Xcode 14 I could hit ⌘⌥C, immediately type a commit message, then hit ⌘-return to complete the commit. git and I were both happy doing commits quickly.
with Xcode 15 I apparently have to first mouse click into the spot for the commit message... then I have do another mouse click on the Commit button.
Is there a way to set this back to the previous behavior?

FIXED
FB9931693 - Xcode will crash if you use the 'cw' Vim command on an emoji
*NOT* FIXED (they did tell me to try it)
