Poor bike, no wheels! An empty oil container is the exact right height and squish to support the wheel when removing the axle. Noticed the front brake pads are still okay, but getting thin.
Picking up my #motorcycle from the dealer where she got a service. What I thought was a fueling problem, the mechanic says was resolved by a new distributor. Very eager to try it out!
In an hour or so it's going to be 16C, which is a 22 degree swing from -6 at the start of the week. Glorious!
I planned the long way home (tm) along the dikes!
Changed the oil and lubed the clutch cable of my #motorcycle.
I can't get over how simple changing the oil is on this bike compared to the Ténéré XT660Z where you had to drain from 3 different and awkward points and fill from a fourth, also awkward point.
Lubing the clutch made it feel a 100 times better! But the little doodad mostly leaked and didn't make the lubing process any less messy as it was supposed to do.
Well, this is interesting. And annoying.
The front left blinker on my #MotoMorini #Xcape #motorcycle is broken.
Most of the time it doesn't work, sometimes it blinks once then cuts out and sometimes it blinks fast and erratically.
Checked cables, connectors and voltages. That all seems to be in order. So my guess is that the blinker unit itself has gone. Which is weird for a LED light.
Contacted the dealer. Let's see...
So, today the #MotoMorini #Xcape is going in for its 12K service. The odo is at 15K.
Slight miscalculation on my part how many kilometers I would be doing in the weeks before, after and during the #motorcycle trip to Wales. I thought I'd be 1K to 1.5K over. Good thing I did the oil change and once over before I left.
Hoo-ha! Rolled over to 10.000 km just as I got to work!
