3 mg Xanax XR were recalled. Idk anyone who would get prescribed xanax sometime between August 2024 and May 2025 who would still have them around in April of 2026, but if you have them you please don’t take them.

“The FDA classified the recall as a Class II, indicating ‘a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote,’ per the agency.

Pills marked as part of lot number 8177156 are impacted by the recall. The medication will be marked with an expiration date of 02/28/2027.”

Today I learned that tranquilizers (benzodiazepines) barely work when you're in a real truly depressive state. I suspected this long time ago though.

I've been through that myself — even 2–3 mg of Xanax would feel like taking chalk or vitamins. Absolutely nothing touches that hollow, empty feeling inside. Just endless void.
