Have one eye on the Eagles game and another on the @wxpnfm.bsky.social #xpnfest livestream...Spin Doctors sound great, but it's a shame injured drummer Aaron Comess isn't with them. Did a phone interview with Aaron during a summer internship with the long-defunct Ocean County (NJ) Observer in 1995.

That's what I love most about #xpnfest ...the thrill of seeing a performer about whom you know very little, and being completely blown away by them. Last time that really happened with me was Devon Gilfillian in 2018. Barely knew his name before his Marina Stage set, but I became an immediate fan.
