#Sondrio 🇮🇹, on the #Milano to #Tirano line, in September 2010: an #FS #Trenitalia #ALe803 unit in #XMPR livery is seen here, under the rain. Towards the end of their career they used to work local and regional duties, like this one on the #Valtellina line.

#Salerno 🇮🇹 in April 2012: an #FS #Trenitalia ALn 668.1800 railcar, built in the early 1970s, and a #Minuetto unit from the early 2000s, are awaiting further duties. Both are seen here displaying the #XMPR livery.

Two #FS 🇮🇹 #Trenitalia #InterCity trains are seen here at #Venice S.L. station in the early 2000s. A Class E.402A is hauling the one on the left whereas the one on the right will depart in push-pull mode with its cab-car (driving trailer) leading. All vehicles on the photo display the #XMPR livery.

A picture taken in autumn 2004 at #Ancona station: this is a northbound #FS 🇮🇹 #Trenitalia #InterCity in #XMPR livery, travelling along the #Adriatica line. The consist, hauled by an E.444R electric, includes #GranConfort type cars - the ones positioned right behind the loco.

A photo taken in April or May 2001 at #Bozen #Bolzano 🇮🇹 station: an #FS E.656 “Caimano” electric with a consist of “Gran Confort” carriages, some (like the first one behind the loco) in #XMPR livery and others still displaying their original #Bandiera paint scheme.

A photo taken at #Roma 🇮🇹 Termini if I remember well, in the early 2000s. This is an #FS “Self Service” @diningcar on an Italian #InterCity in #XMPR livery, mainly delivering snacks. One of these cars is currently in use, by TTI, Treni Turistici Italiani, now with table seating and full restaurant service.
