Microsoft is closing its Xbox 360 Store next year. The Xbox 360 Store and Xbox 360 Marketplace will shut down on July 29th, 2024, but you’ll still be able to play games you already own.

As I mentioned a few days ago, many #XBOX360 favourites are set to get delisted from XBOX 360's Marketplace.

Word around the 'net is that #Microsoft plans to sunset the Marketplace by May 2023 and to close the #XBOX360Marketplace proper "over the next year".

If you still have your original XBOX 360 hardware in your entertainment/game room set up, now would be ideal to grab your favourites & install them to your console.

#Microsoft is pulling the following #XBOX360 games from the XBOX 360 Marketplace on February 7th, 2023. If you run XBOX 360 games on its original hardware, these games will be delisted.

Games that are backwards compatible on #xbox One, Series X | S will still be available for purchase.

If you have the original game disc for these games, they will remain playable.
