Somehow I missed this, until I happened to be on YouTube just as #Coldcut were doing their thing yesterday. #Perenco suffered an oil spill at Wytch Farm in Purbeck last month.

You can read in #Hansard, the unease in 1984 when the #Tories under #Thatcher flogged #WytchFarm in #PooleHarbour. They knew it was a national asset and showed a distinct lack of care regarding the conservation of the area of outstanding natural beauty then.

It was considered to be worth between £200,000,000 and £400,000,000 at that point.

#Conservatives haven’t conserved anything beyond statues, FPTP and wealth for a very long time.
