I am continuing my #Discworld re-read and I had been looking forward to the experience of reading them in order, right from the beginning. But: currently I'm on holiday and have thus resorted to reading a book my wife packed, #TheFifthElephant.

Which makes quite a contrast. I had just gotten as far as #WyrdSisters (#6) and was thinking "this isn't half bad"; three paragraphs into Elephant and there's a huge step up in quality in every direction.

A week ago I embarked on a reread of every single #Discworld novel in order of publication and I am thoroughly enjoying myself. Just finished #7 (#Pyramids) which is a new favourite. #Wyrdsisters is still my favourite of the first seven so far, though.
