count the winters

count the springs
we've spent

without counting the time

were an ocean
The bowl would be a wave
and we'd be the tea-filled junks
that ride the currents
to faraway lands

without a view
and invited lots of guests
to drink tea
and stare at nothing
the steam didn't ask me
invited all his friends
sun, moon, stars,
mountain, river & rain
they longed about my bowl for days
hearing the time of their lives
too bad
i didn't understand a word they said
