The Southern Poverty Law Center has been indicted on federal fraud charges alleging it improperly raised millions of dollars to secretly pay leaders of the Ku Klux Klan and other hate groups for inside information. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the charges Tuesday against the civil rights group. The Justice Department alleges the SPLC defrauded donors by using their money to fund the very extremism it claimed to be fighting. The SPLC says it โwill vigorously defend ourselves, our staff, and our workโ against what it described as false allegations. The group says its now-defunct informant program saved lives.

I don't know what to say. I mean Trump? I just don't get it. Do the American people really want more years of climate denial and a huge boost for Russia and Israel? Not to mention years of nonsense. I don't understand the appeal of Trump but then in the UK I didn't understand why people voted for Starmer either. Nor Boris Johnson before that. I don't get why people in my own country voted for never ending London rule back in 2014. I feel on the wrong side.
