Happy #Wrensday! This is one of the "Wrens of Sycamore Manor" (toting something in its beak -- cottonwood fuzz?).
Northern house wrens are usually pretty furtive and secretive, but they love to come out and perch for a bit of buzzing, "scolding," and churring. This one was alternately flitting about in a tangled pile of windsnap then popping out for sun and song. #Wrensday

Bonus: While I was photographing the wren, a turkey vulture drifted into home airspace. It was quickly escorted away by an F-16 Blackbird.
