Also, if you need to clone a drive, from my experience, FoxClone is good. I recommend it.
It is basically a minimal Linux distro that boots from a USB drive or disc (I burned it on a CD) and has a number of Linux drive/partition management tools included in addition to the FoxClone backup/cloning software itself.
The PDF instructions for FoxClone are also included right on the FoxClone desktop, and they were very helpful.
