Relistened recently and realized that an aspect of their storytelling production I absolutely love is the choice to leave in the players extended screams and reactions to edgy dice rolls like natural 1s and 20s. Just reminds me again how much I appreciate the group of friends creating this story.
Also loved listening recently to Brennan and Aabria on a fireside podcast about GMing.
So, as their first book finished a while ago, I started a relisten of #WorldsBeyondNumber's "The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One", and it's even better on the relisten.
It helps that I now have access to the patreon stuff from the start, and being able to start with the children's adventure and have their talkback stuff from the start, but what helps the most is that I now know where the story goes, and that makes the story even better.
Me: *quotes the final line from the next-to-last episode of The Wizard, The Witch, and The Wild One from #WorldsBeyondNumber at Tess*
Tess: Did you finish the series?
Me: No, that is where the episode ended.
Tess: HOW DID YOU NOT FINISH IT?
Me: Some of us were falling into the pit on Z'ha'dum for over a year! (thanks, jms) I have no problem waiting until the podcast queue reaches the next episode eventually.
Proof that Zac Oyama is The Man in Black
I love these animatics by Danica Dickison for #WorldsBeyondNumber *so* much!
