Campylobacteriosis and salmonellosis still below pre-pandemic levels; West Nile virus infections on the rise
Campylobacteriosis and salmonellosis were the most frequently reported zoonotic diseases in humans in the EU in 2022. However, the number of cases was still lower than during the pre-pandemic years 2018-2019.

CupOfFrogToday is #WorldZoonosesDay. It's important to understand how zoonotic diseases can spread. If we have a pet at home (or free-roaming), it's necessary to vaccinate them. Otherwise pets that are not vaccinated can spread diseases to other pets, wildlife, and the people around them.
