The virus that causes COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, is airborne. It travels in the air like smoke. When you're inside with poor ventilation, you're at risk, even if you are not near anyone else, even alone, because SARS-CoV-2 could be in the air from someone there before you.

Crowded outdoor spaces also present a risk of COVID-19. Think how you can smell cigarette smoke outside even when you can’t see anyone smoking. 2/4

I don't often share photos of myself, but here's one from my Mask Decoration Booth at a recent masked concert.
Shout out to Purity Ring (the singer MJ who's front-and-center, specifically) for always encouraging masking and clean air precautions.

Also pictured is a close-up of the mannequin head display I set up to show folks some inspiration for how respirators could be decorated.

Personal reflections on day six of #WorldMaskWeek (1/2)
I joined Mask Bloc Delaware about a year ago. I don't remember how I found them (us!), but I did, and filled in the request form, but instead of asking for masks, I asked how one gets involved. And it was easy! Add me to the chats, basically. I could decide what and how much to contribute (e.g., time, money, ideas, skills). I asked so many questions! (I still do!) It took time to grasp that this was just us doing stuff, no hierarchy...
