Well, it's the tail end of #WorldKnotTyingDay (marked on the anniversary of Clifford W. Ashley's death.) I had grabbed the supplies to make this bellrope a few weeks back, and finally put the homemade fid to good use making it tonight.

This one is my stab at Mikko Snellman's one-piece bellrope, tied in 8mm hemp. Still needs to have the strays burned off and to be shellacked.

To start with, here's a #paracord #dog lead I made for a friend. 1.8m long, the blue is glow in the dark, the red is reflective. Should help keep them safer during the long dark Scottish winter nights. #WorldKnotTyingDay
