In case anyone is using both products, the change in algorithm between #ESA #WorldCover2020 and #WorldCover2021 will probably contribute more to #urbanization than any actual change between the years.

I used this #EarthEngine app (https://vitorsveg.users.earthengine.app/view/worldcover) to compare over Chicago.

A different algorithm will expectedly produce a somewhat different output.

Wondering if there are plans to use this new algorithm to reclassify the 2020 images for consistency.
