Continuing this painting and being fought by the hot pressed paper all the way. Watercolour base and a mixture of gouache and watercolour on top. A pox, yeah a pox says I, upon they that invented hot pressed paper. I curse them for a thousand years.
Anyway must get on.

My #painting of two #magpies and their treasure is progressing - though rather more slowly than I would like. I need a least an hour completely undisturbed to get any painting done and that has been hard to find!
Anyway, check out all those awesome colours in the plumage. Gosh, that was fun to paint.
My next task is to start on their treasure, all tangled up in the nest.
