Manchmal ist es einfach herrlich ein wenig am Strand zu sein, und die Welt zu geniessen.
Genauso geht es auch meinem futuristischen Stromzähler. Er hat zwar anderes zu tun, aber der Ausgleich muss auch stimmen.

* You may be wondering why this painting has such a peculiar dating. Well, it has a remarkable, long history of creation.
Originally, it was a completely different painting from 2009 that stayed in my studio for several years. Eventually, I wasn't satisfied with it and decided to partially repaint it, preserving certain nice parts from the original painting. At the time, I didn't know how to proceed further, so | left it standing for years. A few years ago, I turned it around and hung it up, determined to preserve and enhance the nice and special #atmosphere. It was only 2022 and the year of completion that I actually started working on it, and I found it very enjoyable and exciting to explore further associations. So after 14 years, an actual new painting had finally come into existence.
