Benches by George Pace at his St Mark, Broomhill, Sheffield, 1963, for #Woodensday. The church replaced one destroyed by WWII bombing, and was entirely to Pace's design, with glass by Harry Stammers and John Piper. The view across to the south side of the nave.
The Carpow Longboat - one of the oldest and best preserved in Scotland. Discovered in the River Tay (near Newburgh) in 2001, the boat dates to the late Bronze Age. Now part of the collections at Perth Museum & Art Gallery,. 📸 My own. #Woodensday #Carpow
