We had another new visitor in the garden early this morning! I've seen these when I volunteered at Wild Bird Fund in NYC but never in the wild. I just learned that they sometimes venture into gardens when it is very cold and the ground is too frozen for them to dig for bugs. They figured out that garden soil is often a little softer. So amazing 🤩
