Bizarrely when I made my way through the woods to get to this tree I sprung a fox, he had obviously seen and heard me a mile off but I accidentally trundled into his path. Made a trick door under the stairs to get to the basement. Regular door wouldn’t work. Odd size, nothing square, tight space. Used an old window weight from the house and a lever and pulleys to counter balance the door lift, so it will open with finger pressure. Fun and funky, but it works!
