Here is a cool video from an electric violin player, Mia Asano. She plays some pretty good and energetic music and in this video explains all about the fretted 7-string violin she plays. It turns out it is a Wood Violin designed by Mark Wood, who I have a couple of albums from the early 90's. Small world!!
