I have to admit that there is an upside to our recent chilly weather. It slows nature down, and therefore I have more time to photograph it. The spring flower show in the woods lasts longer. Now wood sorrels have entered the stage to compete for attention with wood anemones. I prefer wood sorrels because their flowers are prettier – and their leaves are edible. Have you ever tasted them?
