If somethibg includes #AI, it's as much of a #WontBuy as "made with forced and/or child labour"…

@empathicqubit the reason I didn't buy the #Fairphone4 (and #WontBuy the #Fairphone5) is because it's a massive #downgrade from the #Fairphone3+:

• no real #DualSIM (#eSIM is not a valid replacement unless it's a removeable #SIM card!)

• Removal of 3,5mm #TRRS jack (#Sony made #waterproof jacks over a decade ago for their #Xperia Z line!)

• Way more expensive (I'm not gonna pay > €500 for a smartphone!) than is reasonable for any smartphone whatsoever.

• No features worth the cost of upgrading; only #downgrade|s!

#Fairphone3plus #UseLonger #Repairability

@eri even for a #Laptop or #Tablet I consider the #FrameworkDesktop a total "#WontBuy!" on my end, as it has less #Upgradeability and #Repiarability than a #Lenovo #X230Tablet or #Fairphone #FP3plus, mich less anything I consider "#Desktop" hardware.

• Seriously, @frameworkcomputer could've chosen so much better options or just done some sort of Mounting, adaptors & I/O shield to mount a #FrameworkLaptop mainboard and expand it's I/O to be on-par with a #MacMini and people would've happily accepted that.

It's really sad when #DIYperks put in more effort than an entire company at designing a Desktop!

I am aware of #murena and #eOS and I do think they are great.

• It's just that with the #Fairphone3plus being #OutOfProduction there isn't any viable option that ticks my boxes...

• no real #DualSIM and no #HeadphoneJack are #WontBuy for me, even if some people think having the freedom to switch devices without the network operators' blessing and being able to just plug in a decent headphone instead of some #unrepariable #bluetooth #garbage is a "nieche case"...
