Watching the MD of Greenview council meeting today and they’ve been reviewing their policies. Coming up shortly, a discussion on access to information.
Their “Right of Access” policy has some surprising reasons they may refuse to disclose, including if the info may:
🚫 harm inter-governmental relations
🚫 reveal advice, proposals, recommendation, analyses or policy options developed by or for the MD
🚫 cause harm to the economic interests of Greenview or the Alberta Government
🚫 reveal information relating to testing or auditing procedures
🚫 reveal information that is already or will be made available to the public within 60 business days
I'm wondering if that is compliant with the Access to Information Act?
