Can anyone out there recommend a digital (preferred) clock, preferably wall mount, that only shows the day of the week?

My #ADHD #Brain really struggles with remembering the day of the week, especially working from home and I have to remember to send certain things into school on certain days. I already have a million alarms but a clock of some kind by the backpack would help.

Took a lengthy social media break while I explored the possibility of having ADHD, got diagnosed, and then deconstructed my history, now able to see it through a completely new lens with greater clarity.

If you think you might be neurodivergent, it’s never too late to do some research, get some answers, and learn (and heal!) from them. A highly validating experience.

10/10, would recommend.

Perhaps looking like a drug hoarder is why getting access to my controlled substance medication is difficult every month.

I’m not selling it I swear. I honestly just keep forgetting to take it.

The only reason it gets refilled is because I have a kid with #ADHD too who I remind to take theirs every morning, and we have the same refill date.

It’s ironic.

I got a little to grumpy today and didn’t handle myself well due to being over stimulated in the car, but it’s not always like that. It was a good day with good times. I have to remind myself that our brain likes to focus on the negative, when that was just a blip.

This is an interesting article about “body doubling” and how it can be helpful for someone with #ADHD.

I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life (3 years ago this month in 2020 at the age of 48); but I’ve always preferred to share space when I am working. Might be part of the reason I like #coworking.

I hate these theme weeks at school. My kid is too little to actually plan for each day herself so it falls on the adults. As someone with #ADHD I'm lucky I can get her out the door in time to catch the bus with everything she needs on a normal day.

I had my first psychiatric appointment this week. Turns out as well as anxiety and depression, which I already knew I live with, he said I have ADHD and Autism traits.  I was shocked 😳. Also validated 😁. Annoyed that in almost 50 years nobody has picked this up til now and all this time I’ve been suffering and struggling but going forward at least I know. He said it presents differently when you have both. I’m waiting on my assessments now. #ADHD #AuADHD #adhd #latediagnosis #brownpeoplewithadhd #olderadhd #WomenWithADHD #womenwithautism
Hyperfocusing today: I'm so extremely in the zone that I feel like I haven't blinked since 8.30. And it's so, so great. Reaming through my work. #adultadhd #adhdlife #womenwithadhd

Couldn't remember if I'd taken my adhd meds so decided just to see it out.

Now I just want to eat bread and lay under blankets I realise I definitely didn't take my meds.

Sigh.
