"You & a Bike & a Road" by Eleanor Davis.

Original release by Koyama Press in 2017. It looks like a hardcover re-release this July by Fantagraphics.

Eleanor is an illustrator and comics artist often published in The New Yorker. She decided to bike from her parents' house in Arizona to her home in Georgia, and draw about her travels. Very very good.

An incomplete list, I'm sure, of books by women, for women, on bicycling: http://bikestylespokane.com/2024/03/01/bike-books-i-recommend-women-on-wheels/

Tell me what I missed!

[Edited to add: "For women" not meant to suggest that anyone of any gender wouldn't be interested in the history and thinking in these books. "Women" inclusive of trans women and nonbinary people; any books like that out there?]
