Our local #grassroots, all women run, #BIPOC led, #sisterhood #nonprofit, #SNIWWOC - also offers a free #DentalHealth / #DentalHygiene program.

We believe everyone should have access to quality #health care, regardless of their ability to pay. Dental Hygiene is important for your health.

The service is provided through a partnership with Pacifica Dental. Your appointment will take place between Monday and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and for low-income racialized women.

This free dental hygiene program provides dental hygiene check-ups and cleaning only. #PacificaDental clinic can recommend further treatment if necessary. You will need to visit the clinic location.

We are currently accepting new applications.

Eligibility:

#BlackWomen, #IndigenousWomen & #WomenOfColour including #transgender, #nonbinary & #TwoSpirit community members.

You must make less than the Low Income Cut-off. Please check the table below to check your eligibility

Resident of the Greater Victoria area and will be able to visit the clinic location

[ Support Network for Indigenous Women has now grown from its all-volunteer roots in 2014 to a full-fledged social enterprise with seven staff members in B.C. and Ontario.

It runs events in Vancouver and Toronto as well as virtual programming for participants throughout Canada.

Brown said more than 2,000 people received help from the support network last year. ]
