Sarah🌳Home early from Wombling today with the @wellingboroughecogroup - but I started early too. A guy collected up a whole load of bottles and cans from around the play area in the park and dumped them in my sack with a cheery - Here you go!
I thanked him and pointed out that he could use the bins.
- Yes but that's the problem, he replied, people dont do they?! 🙄 So I carried all the rubbish he'd collected too
On my way home, Wombling as I walked, a guy rolled down his car window to offer me a drinks can he had just emptied - like he was doing me a huge favour. I declined and walked on, waiting for the chink as his can hit the road. It didnt. 🤞#rubbish #wombling
