Aconite (also known as monkshood and wolfsbane) is a group of flowering plants infamous for their poison. In Greek mythology, the witch goddess Hecate invented aconite, and in Ovid's "Metamorphosis," it came from the monster Cerberus' mouth. In many stories, aconite repels vampires and werewolves.
