Fun fact, there is a type of bird in the black forest building clocks to attract potential mates; would you believe it! Each year they build a new version that gets evermore sophisticated. The amount of clocks, that accumulate over the years are sold by the local folks as a tourist souvenir bringing vital revenue to the region.
